I think Blur (and The Verve which I find better) was a great example of britpop and the guitar playing was great (I especially love it on "Song 2"), but I voted for Amigo despite only listening to a few videos featuring him on guitar. His style is beautiful.

Coxon was very influential on me when I was learning guitar, so I have a soft spot for him. His work on "Country Sad Ballad Man", in particular.

too tough for me to vote. the styles are so dissimilar, and i'm biased towards Coxon, but Amigo is clearly phenomenal.

I knew from the beginning that I was going to support Coxon throughout the tourney, but Vincente Amigo is still a wonderful guitarist too. Even with that, my bias is still for Coxon.

Just putting forward a couple of pieces from Vicente Amigo that I enjoy. Ojos de Alhambra is my favourite work of his. It's a very haunting piece of music (the vocals are from Cheb Khaled). The piece resonates with me because the Alhambra has been such a meaningful place to me during my time in Spain (visited many times) and I've got some wonderful memories there. There's an incredibly rich history with the Moorish occupation of Spain for almost 800 years & you can really feel that in the music.

The second piece is Balero del Vicente & shows of a bit of his technique:

I love all of the percussion in this track as well, and here the influence shows of Paco de Lucia on modern flamenco.
