It's what I'd consider classics, but disregard in comparison to cliche' standards. Most definitely.

Liumin by Deepchord Presents Echospace

Just a brilliant slice of electro & dub techno. So excited about the forthcoming Echospace (Detroit) Altering Illusions Vols 2 and 3 sets including unreleased/vinyl only tracks from the Deepchord crew

Great stuff! I'm a huge fan of The Cold Season but wasn't aware of this one.

It's more upbeat and less Arctic than their previous album but takes a few more listens to appreciate the subtleties within. There's a bonus disc available via Boomkat.

Been gorging on the recent cv313 albums which is basically one of the two guys from Echospace (the more stoned one by the sounds of it)

The idea of a "lost classic" entirely depends on who you're talking to. You'll find plenty of people across the western world with well-worn copies of Luther Vandross' debut, but it doesn't appear in any BEA charts. Similarly, albums which are highly respected and celebrated in certain areas of the world, or among fans of certain genres, like UGK's Super Tight, may be virtually unknown to outsiders. One group who are highly respected in their field, but who get virtually no love elsewhere, are the ultra-minimal electronic duo snd. I guess I'll throw this forward in the hope that some here may listen to it:

I quite like Skinny's idea of what makes a lost classic so I'm going to recommend something along those lines.

Casual Sex In The Cineplex by The Sultans Of Ping FC
This album is pretty highly regarded around Cork from what I've seen, ranked highly among local blogs and so on as one of, if not the best album to ever come out of here. The band became a bit of cult hit in Ireland due to 'Where's Me Jumper?'. The album is pretty straightforward catchy punk-styled stuff but I adore it and can't recommend it enough. There's some seriously great artists in the Cork music scene, gotta make a chart for this actually... ๐Ÿค”

Moonlight In Vermont by Johnny Smith

Pretty perfect guitar-led cool jazz.

Valentyne Suite by Colosseum

Sort of a link between psychedelic/blues rock and prog rock.

Uploaded one to youtube actually and haven't had too many people play it - NickVolos was kind enough to check this out a few months back and say some good things about it so hope I can convince others to give it a try...

I'll give it a shot in college tomorrow, I can actually stream stuff there unlike at home...

Plus I'll be in the library for like 5 hours!
