Recommendations Thread

This may already exist. I'd like this to be a place we can just post something that we really love atm. And then ask people in the BEA community to contribute some key albums that they feel will also be loved. I don't care how obvious it is. Like, not at all. Can be such a super obvious rec cuz you never know, maybe the person hasn't heard that album. Like example if someone is like "I fucking love 'Rust In Peace' by Megadeth right now! What are the most obvious recs that you would think I wil also love?" And then someone says "check out 'Countdown To Extinction' by Megadeth, 'Master of Puppets' by Metallica." That is kinda obvious, but also good. Anyway, yeah, just an idea.

Do any of you guys know any good compilation albums with all the 1950's hits. I want to get to know a little bit more of this era, get the whole Buddy Holly, Elvis, Chuck Berry, Little Richards, etc experience.

These are decent starting points for these two, though I'd recommend some actual albums from these folks. But if you're looking for a singles comp, you could do worse than these two
