Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 12% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 74.7/100, a mean average of 73.7/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 74.9/100. The standard deviation for this album is 15.6.

Their most conventional sounding, it sound like original emocore to me, as in hardcore with a subtle but good sense of melody and emotional vocals and lyrics.
Only reason why I didn't give this a hundred is because I got pissed about how it's too short for my liking. I'd love more from precisely this era of Iceage. I can hear the unrestrained thrashing around of wild youth from New Brigade, as well as the drunken, romantic revelry that their last record made me think of.
Now, I love this album, but I loved reading @Precedent's comments for each of the songs. I thought they were really funny.
Real punk is always a great antidote to the music industry's general awfulness and complete lack of humanity. Give this a listen for that reason alone.
I was a bit disappointed in this second record. It is too neat, I liked the raw energy of the first better.
Didn't like the style
Cool guitars (at times)
This is just pure, fast, furious punk rock, however, it is not mindless punk rock. There’s a fine line between the two, punk rock doing what it was designed to do, to be fast and reckless, but still somewhat controlled, and being mindless and uncontrolled. Iceage dance between the two, leaning more towards controlled, even moving a slight bit away from the crazy punk rock in songs like “Interlude" and “Morals".
Short and wild, just like the begins of punk rock, but excellent. The sound is very powerful, and you'r thrown into the deep end right after the first song. You're Nothing is the closest to a stand-out song.
It reminds me a bit of At The Drive-In but in a 2 minute range per song. Agressive and pretty entretaining...
First time in ages that I've been excited by a punk record. As lostcontrol said, it's definitely reminiscent of Warsaw.
