Mercurydylan89 12/25/2012 17:58This is really a cool album. Great pop, excellent samples, really well written and creative lyrics and word play, cool voice. Yeah, Morrissey/Magnetic Fields/Smiths feels sometimes, but it's not overly or obviously derivative. Really solid songs! "Opposite of Hallelujah" "Postcard to Nina" "Your Arms around me" are just such great tracks. So funny and romantic. This record is like a great rom-com put to indie pop music! :)
There is nothing not to like about this album... it is aural dope that is guaranteed to put a smile on your face!
Best album of 2007 in my opinion. It changed my way to understand pop music. And Jens's voice became one of my favourites.

Such weird lyrics....Not Neutral Milk Hotel, or Captain Beefheart weird, but 'relaxing' weird. Great album though, and probably one of the best of 07. Has a Magnetic Fields feeling to it.
