Still the same problems I've had with them before, again feels like an attempt to imitate instead of taking the influences and doing something of their own; this time what they attempt to do is a "experimental double album", and when you're bereft of songwriting ideas or anything to say, it's gonna be a chore to listen to.
Cool. Only heard parts at different times never heard the whole thing. I think some hip hop mag, maybe Source or something, named that the number 1 most brilliant album of the last 20 years (actually I think it was last 18 years - I think they were celebrating their 18th anniversary so albums like Illmatic and Ready to Die missed the cut off.) anyway, yeah it's dope. Really? For the longest time I thought Imagine was better. Then I saw the light and started seeing POB had more emotion and fire and dynamic but I didn't think it had as good a songwriting as Imagine. Now I consider them almost equal with a slight edge going to Plastic Ono Band _________________ -Ryan
