With the exception of Piñata and Morning Phase, none of my top ten are close to being in the overall top ten. I'll limit myself to four albums that are outside the top 200. In decreasing order of obscurity:
wyatt I wish you would expand your 2014 chart (and all charts for that matter) i think you and i have pretty similar tastes. _________________

You're chart is sooooooooo american. It's like a diner in here.
this album should be top-3 everywhere. it's just as good as "attack on memory". it doesn't even put a ding on the metacritic critics list. i'm crying myself a river here!
This Kindly Slumber by Birds Of Passage
Not sure if anyone here knows this one. It's ambient/drone with really dreamy vocals, and it's pretty great. Would recommend to fans of Sigur Ros. There's nothing post rock about this, but it definitely has a similar feel to them.
...and at the end of the year, my favourite album of 2014 hits me. Native North America - Vol. 1
This is a gem. A collection of forgotten tracks from the most overlooked genre of music out there. Painstakingly assembled - this is a must listen. _________________ Finnegan was super bad-ass.
