2015 albums

WindowAbove · 2014-12-30T12:17:05-05:00

It's a little early now, but once we get into 2015 there will be great albums to listen to. Some stuff already leaked or is available like Viet Cong's self-titled, which I've heard and liked. Anyway this is the thread for albums that come out in 2015.

This is just incredible. Polyrhythmic bliss with some insane spindling guitar playing.

Also, if you're in the mood for even more African jams, the new Very Best album is very good.

and i dug my first listen of the new Ava Luna record

Infinite House by Ava Luna

As usual, this is a tough record to pin down. Take some krautrock, mix in some doowop, don't forget the post-punk, and then throw everything else you've got in there too.

Ah, didn't realize this had leaked. Seeing the release show for this album this weekend. Killer linup with Palehound and LVL UP as well.

Gonna listen now

If you're a fan of Ty Segall or Thee Oh Sees, you owe it to yourself to check out

Fuzzy, hard hitting psychedelic Garage Punk. There's even some analog synth-laden jams in there. Great stuff.

New Lana Del Rey in August, and a Grizzly Bear album coming out this year is being highly rumoured.

I've been a bit busy recently, so my 2015 listens have been a bit slow, but I've loved some of the stuff released so far this year.

Happy to say Dwight's late career resurgence is continuing in fantastic fashion.
