I love that Benjamin Clementine album. I think it's super fresh and revitalizing. Genuinely enjoy every second of it.

Anyway, has anyone been noticing Snoop Dogg's new aesthetic? 🤣 It's absolutely fantastic. I think I'll be giving his new album a listen just cause of the cover.

Likewise. It hasn't held up so well on multiple listens as other albums this year, but I love how non-pretentiously eccentric Clementine comes off. His lyricism is bizarre and awkward, but to me it actually sounded like he had something he really wanted to say in each song, which I don't hear often.

Yeah, yeah, she samples it on like the fourth or fifth track. It was really weird to recognize it. Ask Hayden for a link. 🤣

Also it was just really good too, have yet to be disappointed by anything Hval has put out.

Our yearly Oh Sees album turns out a bit better than last year's, imo. If you like that rock and or roll music, this has both.


IF by Paul De Jong

The other guy from the books makes an album that sounds like the books, so it is great.


HIVE1 by Tyondai Braxton

Former lead singer of Battles has left Warp for Nonesuch, and ironically has made his most electronic work yet that is at times reminiscent of some of the weirder house music coming out lately.


Menjadi by Senyawa

Indonesian duo, weird strings and some incredibly versatile vocals providing scrapes, growls, singing and shouting. A pretty distinct experience, now available digitally!

On the dronier side of things, but a very active, happy sort of drone. Includes drums and farm animals and other fun stuff.
