How Much of a Cultural Omnivore Are You?

So most of us have probably heard the post-Bordeaou theory that the best way to seem "elite" in cultural taste is to consume every kind of media voraciously. You may think it's silly and classist to even think about these things, but remember that half the point of sites like this is to expose you to other sorts of culture in that same way. I used to think that I was a great cultural omnivore, and I really may be in the contexts of recorded music and movies (and I think I'm getting there with literature). But I am starting to think about all the kinds of media I know very little about, including: *Let's Plays and other "Social Media Cinema" *Late-night talk shows *The vast majority of even the best primetime TV through the ages *Opera *Most sorts of video games post-2012 *Narrative podcasts (like Serial, which I still need to start listening to :cry: ) And there's probably a good bit of stuff I'm forgetting about right now. What do you guys think? Would you call yourself a cultural omnivore? What is the range of culture you consume, and what do you wish you had time for?

But no I guess when it comes to cultural omnivore I def consume a lot of music obv, mainly cuz it's something that's great to experience when doing other things as well, I read a lot, more so news, anaylsis's these days than actual novels/books. I used to consume a lot of movies but recently I actually really have enjoyed more so not watching, say, multiple movies in a day, as I actually find I enjoy them a lot more if Im not trying to do it all. Kind of the opposite of TV/webseries as I can binge on them all day. Video Games not so much anymore. Though I binge on Tumblr and travel videos all day every day.
