It's a little early now, but once we get into 2015 there will be great albums to listen to. Some stuff already leaked or is available like Viet Cong's self-titled, which I've heard and liked. Anyway this is the thread for albums that come out in 2015.

Thanks Hayden and WindowAbove...I'll check out your suggestions over this coming week and hopefully can get my ratings moving upwards. But yeah I struggle with hip hop (lyrically) but have dabbled with electronic music and quite enjoy it...Cabs, Kraftwerk, squarepusher, Ladytron, Autechre , Boards etc buy yes I guess alternative rock / indie pop is my home.

Hey are you all familiar with this band called Bully? They had an EP out last year and their debut album comes out in two weeks. They sound like some pretty solid indie rock, I bet this one does well on the review circuit

Hi all - I would recommend Benjamin Clementine - very different both musically and vocally - it's introspective stuff but it has true power - also if pop is your thing then try champs - I just love it

Cool...looking forward to hearing this one. Just a quick update on my listening from the recommendations. Played the Hop Along album yesterday and really enjoyed it upon first listen.

Will hopefully get round to listening to Drainolith and Drenge albums tonight although I really want to watch that Slowdive documentary on Pitchfork first.

And finally, with each listen this album is really impressing me more and more, it's kinda all over the place but I'm picking up a hint of Magazine through it and just keep getting that urge to play it which is always a good sign.

Thanks! It's funny that something that sounds so much like the Breeders or Hole will be marketed as indie rock, but that's where we are, I guess. I actually wishlisted this on RYM about a month ago after hearing "Trying" on the radio, so I'm psyched that the album is sounding good so far.
