Said by Andy Partridge to be the only track on the 1995 'Testimonial Dinner - The Songs Of XTC' tribute album that is of any worth because Xtc songs 'don't make for good covers'. I have to agree with that verdict, even if this Blades cover confounds it, it only does so by approaching the song with a completely different format; Xtc are basically inimitable.

It's really great. Has a very XTC feel with a little more of that post-punk disco thing that Bowie and Talking Heads had down so well. First track even has some very Steven Brown saxophone, this is super up my alley and will probably sit right around the bottom of my overall/just miss unless I revisit and love it even more. _________________
