Have you really purchased 20 albums in the last 4 days?
No, more like one or two. Tbh most of these are from the library, or if they are too rare to be available in WorldCat or a local store, from the internet. Apart from occasional gifts, I don't have much of a physical collection.
I see. I was just hoping that this thread was going to be more of a place where people would note what they added to their physical collections rather than just pullinhjg free stuff from the internet and such... _________________ I'm leaning on the threshold

Okay, if my posts in this thread are irritating to people, I'll stop posting in it. Not a big deal.
There's certainly a question of what constitutes a legitimate collection, and we probably have different views, but I'm not particularly interested in litigating it.
EDIT: If you want, maybe you could add the word physical to the thread title? That would eliminate any ambiguity. _________________ Join us in the canon game :) / Add me on RYM
I've loved this record for years, ever since hearing Liz's Song on the amazing Gather In The Mushrooms folk compendium (thoroughly recommended to one and all). I never for one minute thought I'd ever own an original copy, so when I saw one pop up on eBay I just had to put a speculative bid in. This I did, and to my surprise I won in spite of it going for 6 times what I paid for it on Discogs. Sleeve's a bit worn but the record is in great shape, which for a 70s folk LP with lots of quiet passages is saying something. Fans of Vashti and Nick Drake should definitely give it a listen, as I'm doing now. It's beautiful. _________________ 'Reggae' & t'ing Folk 'n Stuff SHAMELESS RECORD DEALER PLUG
