Their album of the same name turns five years old today. 😄 😄 😄

God bless you and them always!!! 😄 😄 😄

Holly (a fan of Alison since 1994)

P.S. I pray that a new album from them is out there soon because there hasn't been one out there since this one. They are missed. Congrats to Barry Bales on his ACM Song of the Year award win for co-writing the country song named "Nobody To Blame". 😄 😄 😄

Love this answer

Thinking about this question actually made it clear to me just how many of my favorite artists of the past decade are "solo"

Low
Timber Timbre
Animal Collective
Liars
Of Montreal
Sigur Ros
Califone
Menomena
Parenthetical Girls
Slim Cessna's Auto Club

At what point does a band stop being a band and become "solo"? For example, if Bob Pollard wrote and played everything on the new GBV album, is GBV still a band. Is Destroyer a band even if it's essentially Dan Bejar. Is

04: vampire weekend
05: lcd soundsystem
06: the chvrches
