On headphones in a dark room when everyone is sleeping. From the car stereo on a long road trip across a featureless landscape. Echoing from a distant party in the depths of suburbia. Over a small, tinny speaker on a park bench on a sunny day. Surrounding me in the sweaty confines of a crowded club.
In my head as I wait for the next moment to pass...
