Wasn't as metal, but it was still pretty good. What I'm talking about is the IV/Houses of the Holy/Presence trinity mostly, which are awesome, ambitious and a little experimental, whereas I, II and III, as good as they are, are just derivative unto themselves.
Also, despite Presence sucking, Achilles Last Stand is probably one of the best songs ever. _________________ A dick that's bigger than the sun.

I'll agree on Houses of the Holy for sure prolly my fav Zep album overall. Presence is eh and IV is just so overplayed that it's hard to hear it with the same ears I heard it with when I was first introduced to it. I will admit though that there was a time, from like 12-14, when that album totally consumed me. So I guess my estimation is based more on the fact that if I'm gonna throw on some Zep it'll more than likely be anything but something on IV.
