Both are good albums. They aren't Led Zeoppelin IV, but why would you want them to be? The band was changing and evolving, but they were still very good.
Presence has "Nobody's Fault But Mine", which I think stands up against any of their earlier work. And In Through The Out Door has "I'm Gonna Crawl", which may be the best Robert Plant performance in the entire catalog. _________________ I'm leaning on the threshold

I agree that they are the two weakest Zeppelin albums, but I still think they're both very good, even more so if you're able to disregard their previous work.
But I think Presence especially doesn't get enough credit. Achilles Last Stand is a top 10 Zeppelin song I think, and there are a couple other immensely underrated Page riffs here (Royal Orleans, Hots On For Nowhere). And obviously Nobody's Fault But Mine is a classic as well. It was actually in my top 100 for a while. So yeah I prefer Presence.

So I am like, the only one who thinks Nobody's Fault But Mine sucks but Tea for One is the best track on Presence after Achilles? Good to know.

Presence by a mile. It has weak songs, but it has a couple killer tunes that rank among Zeps best. ITTOD is a total sellout.
