It's a good idea and I'll add to the list. It wouldn't be difficult to develop something using their API but need to focus on redesigning the site here before starting anything else. The real work in doing this is matching up the items in Spotify with the items here, and then using the unique IDs to create a playlist.

I made these last year (probably have changed a bit since then).
I manually did it and thought it would be neat for them to automatically populate.
Speaking of which, AlbumMaster - if I were to play around with the idea of making the API speak with this site, mind PMing me what you'd need from me or if it would be a wasted effort? Would the site want to work something out to get some kind of kick back as well, similar to purchasing music?

Currently still redesigning the front end of BEA which is also involving refactoring the back-end code to get it into a state where I am not too embarrassed to publish BEA's own API which would, in the future, allow other people to create their own mashups. Currently in a horrible intermediary period where because BEA2 is currently in development, any existing work on BEA1 would likely end up broken so I think it would be a wasted effort until work on the new site is finished.
EDIT: It's a pity there's not some way Spotify can read a playlist dynamically from a RSS feed as BEA already provides up-to-date RSS feeds for all charts on the site (except top-rated) so don't necessarily need an API for this task e.g. overall chart - https://www.besteveralbums.com/feeds/BestEverAlbumsdotCom_OverallChart.xml (RSS feed contents could be enhanced if necessary)

Yes that would be neat.I don't have a lot of experience, but thought it could be a fun project to learn more. But sounds like you already have plans/ are in the middle of things. Glad I checked in. Good luck and best wishes as you develop the new site!
