Yes, I'm a pretty big fan of Pat! She's a great and fairly underrated rockstar with a presence simultaneously elegant and heavy. Her first album is especially fantastic, in my opinion, but I'm also enthusiastic about Crimes of Passion and Tropico. Her other albums aren't complete masterpieces, but they all contain at least a few killer tunes.
Her first is the best. It has the most good ones on it. Then after that they each had a couple good ones on it. Except for get nervous which sucked all the way around. Her band was really good I thought, especially on Wuthering Heights and Little Paradise. Theyre just awesome on those two.
Rare Earth's Get ready is the obvious choice here and I think it's miles ahead of the original. The dude's voice was just made for the song. I also like he doesn't unnecessarily hold notes during the chorus. Honestly, i think the original is too tame either way.
