Not sure how strong your Italian is Merc, but I listened to this the other day and it blew my socks off. Easily his best, haven't a clue why it isn't considered so.
Also, Val Stöecklein's Grey Life is a pretty strong gem too (don't think it's on our database 🤔 ... which is odd, cause I'm positive I've added it at some point... I even have a song named after it). _________________ Doubles & Conch

Looks great! I will check it out. I am not fluent in Italian. Still shall search this out. I’m thinking I may do non-English Songwriter/solo album research later on. There are so many from this period of the late 50s into the 70s which look awesome. _________________ -Ryan
Did u ever consider this guy? I guess a lot of people don't think of singer-songwriter when they think of him, but he actually is. Except for the Fred Neil song on the one album and the Lennon McCartney and Mr. Bojangles on the other one, he wrote all the songs. And he's different in that he's not at all folky like most of the others.

Hey, did you do this guy yet? He wrote some really good songs like City of New Orleans that Arlo Guthrie had a big hit with and other people like Joan Baez and a shitload of other people did it too. And also he wrote You Don't Even Call Me by Name which a lot of country artists did. And he wrote some more too I just can't think of them.
I’m thinking I may do non-English Songwriter/solo album research later on. There are so many from this period of the late 50s into the 70s which look awesome.

Ooh I really like the few albums I’ve heard of his. But I just spotted he has an album from 69 and 68. Will start listening now! I really do have good feelings for the dude, he’s such a great melody maker and compositional Songwriter. Lyrics are great too.

Yeah, those two are from 68-69. They're nothing like the rock stuff he did a couple years later like Nilsson Schmilsson, but they're very interesting to say the least. And the one album has his awesome hit Everybody's Talkin. By Fred Neil. The awesome theme from the movie Midnight Cowboy
