Originally Maggie May was the B-side till DJ's flipped it and turned it into a double a-side. Then Maggie May took off and made him into a star.
Strawberry Fields/Penny Lane by The Beatles is a good one although Hey Jude/Revolution was good too.

I was only just playing that rod Stewart album last night and I never knew about maggie may being an original b-side until looking the info up about the album last night.
