Some of you probably could have guessed this was coming..
Lots of discussion over these two epics on my other Poll, Greatest Prog Magnum Opus.
Which is your favorite of these two masterpieces..?

Echoes. It's a song that had a huge impact on how I listen to music, what music I listen to and was a general introduction to both prog and psychedelic 60s/70s bands. There was a time when I knew how to play the whole Shine On on guitar, but maybe because I've listened to it too much, or maybe because Echoes is just a better track, Echoes remained one of my all time favourite tracks while Shine On didn't. It's still a masterpiece of a song though 😁

Shine On is probably the better song, and I probably enjoy listening to it more, but my vote is for Echoes.
Shine On is a poem, whereas Echoes is a voyage into the unknown. It's so experimental and out there, so it gets my vote.

Echoes... easily top 10 or so songs of Pink Floyd.
Not a fan of the vocals on Shine On. Not sure this song makes my top 50.
