Never heard of Lankum but got the album on now, very good. The only other rec I'd give is anything featuring Dennis Cahill and Martin Hayes, they have a few projects. Seen them live twice and loved them each time. This album is a favourite. The Lonesome Touch by Martin Hayes And Dennis Cahill

You are right The Waterboys have a lot of Irish members but singer and chief Waterboy and writer Mike Scott is Scottish. He spent a lot of time in Ireland and in America. I saw them live a couple of months ago. they were brilliant.
