This is another tough choice. I really enjoyed both these records, both are extremely underrated, and both will make it into my 2017 chart. The highs are higher on Utopia, but it is also more uneven in quality. Lost In A Sea Of Trees is a more immersive listening experience. I'm thinking about how my music taste has changed over the years as I've explored new genres. A year or two ago, I easily would have preferred Utopia. Enjoyed both for sure, but Wanderwelle wins hands down in my eyes. 'Utopia' was a really confident album, but it never really caught me off guard or did anything outside of what I was expecting it to. Lots of songs great for vibing to, but as a piece of 'art' I think it falls short.
'Lost In A Sea Of Trees' really hooked into me. Kind of reminded me of some modern classical in how very subtle and gradual changes move everything forward, but if you're not listening you'll miss it - which is probably the idea. Very lowkey, really nice layers, I dig it.

Voted Wanderwelle. 4 albums in (I'm doing them in order) and that's the first one I feel I need to update my 2017 chart for. Not that they won't all make it, because my 2017 chart is very small and everything has been listenable, but that one in particular is definitely top 10 worthy, at least out of what I've heard so far.
