I think rural Australians and Midwestern Americans are basically the same people. I feel like I could get a beer with this guy. I like his sense of humor and his DGAF attitude.
Excellent production, high quality meh synth funk that's just not my thing. At times there were some interesting sound affects but they don't compensate for songs that overstayed their welcome and were too long, leading to an album that was way too long. O.B.E. was pretty good with it's almost Pond like sound, and the album closer was interesting too.
This was great. It's classified as UK bass, which seems right, but at the same time there's an exceptional level of stylistic variety and genre-bending. Technically very well-executed, and interesting throughout. Definitely will be going in my year chart with the next update. 4/5.

Long time coming, I know, but when is it ever not with me? Haha anyway, yeah this was some pretty solid dream pop you chose out for me chief. I really donโt have much to say about it other than the fact that I was really pleased when it was on. I know that isnโt very constructive but sometimes I just enjoy things while theyโre on and donโt really think about it. Sorry if this isnโt the response you expected.

A rec from you with these genre tags? I was really hyped. And it did not disappoint! This is a really mind-bending album with amazing instrumentals and strong vocals. I can pick out words and phrases, but my French isn't good enough to understand what's going on. And even if I could, I tend to think that fluency in a language is required to judge the quality of lyrics, poetry, literature, etc. Regardless of comprehension level, the second-to-last track is clearly wacky. What's going on? To me it sounds like a descent into madness. A great listen and I look forward to checking out Ribeiro's other albums. 4/5.
