I don't mind a bit of quality heavy post-rock. I warmed up to this as it went along and having Chelsea Wolfe on guest vocals on the last song was a great finish.
I think I had listened to FC once before, but it didn't leave much of an impression. This album; however, is a fun and technically proficient album that certainly deserves the high ratings it has.
Yeah. This slaps so hard. Not only a contender for top 10 of 1993 but also for the decade. Very soulful. Rocks out. Has a southern sheen to it. And feels like it hasn't aged at all. Grade:95
Could be a 100. Maybe another listen can make it that.

This was great! One of the best picks for me in this game so far. As soon as that instrumental intro set the tone for some noisy mayhem to hopefully follow I suspected I was going to like this album. With punk and post-punk influences this noise rock post-hardcore album started great, with an excellent middle section, finished great, and had cool variety within. This is now high on my 2014 chart after only one listen.
Man, this was great. The guitar work was excellent and this album was just a straight-ahead rocker, like the best of what Ty Segall does. Really intense, enveloping garage rock, loved it.
This was some excellent electronic music. Would make my 2014 list if I ever updated it or made it. But an essential listen. So my grade for this would be a 90.
My pick, One of my personal favorites of 2017. To the point I don't know if this would be top 10 material. Top 20? Hell yeah. Top Ten? Maybe.
My second favorite Jamiroquai album. Right behind there 1993 classic.

Not usually my thing so I don't know much but this seemed decent enough. Lost me a couple of times as I drifted away from the music instead of into the music but brought me back after not too long. I can actually see myself playing this again but only for a specific ambience, eg musical inspiration while my wife paints.
