Yeah!! โGothicโ is really great, and an incredible progression from their debut!! I recently listened to PLโs โIconโ LP (which is considered to be even better), but I was disappointed by it; since it mostly sounded like they tried to re-write โGothicโ again, after their misstep with the lousy โShades of Godโ from the previous year. Absolutely agree with what you mentioned about the super cool guitar tone on this album. 8)

oh, Hey! By all means, check out "Icon", since you enjoyed "Gothic". I was slightly annoyed by the Hetfield-style vocals (but honestly, they don't stray too far from previous albums). Otherwise, it feels a bit streamlined. Nonetheless, powerful heavy melodic shit, for sure!!
