It was this album. I don't use Spotify, so whenever I play music at work it's from YouTube.

Oh that makes sense.
These songs off their 2015 album are pretty good: (and are part of spotify top 10)
White Gloves
People Everywhere (Still Alive)
Two Fish and an Elephant (probably my favorite song of theirs)
Mr. White
Dern Kala
Mr. White
I didn't think much of these guys the first time I listened to them. But somehow I'm in love.

I'd rather listen to instrumental surf music from the early 60s or Calexico for this sort of background music.

Same here. I don't get much out of the Khruangbin album, I preferred their first.
