After listening to these two album, I will mention my winner for this round with some description.
Now with the Flatbush Zombies, there is a lot of things about them and this album that I quite enjoy. For one the three rappers that make this group are animated, quite diverse with there flows and charismatic. I will also mention that there are references to other hip hop songs that I could see being a bonus of hip hop listeners. Another thing I would mentioned is that there are some intoxicating catchy hooks and a good chunk of catchy songs. Now with all of that you would that I would love this to max. Well not quite because I do have a few complaints. For one I feel like if this album was trimmed to it's best songs, I could tell that this record could have gone way further than it is at right now. But more importantly and this might be a me thing, am I the only one where even on the songs that are good to even great where it gets a bit exhausting? Because this is a lengthy listen where the record goes up to almost 80 minutes. I don't know where this match up will go but it will be an interesting one.
Grade:80 maybe an 85 but more of an 80 for now.
While on the other side you got Moonlight. And god damn do I love this record. Now there is a hint of bias since I do love Disclosure to the point where I am getting somewhat impatient for there next album. However with this, this has hold the wait. I mean this isn't that long only clocking in 20 minutes. There is a lot of variety in this record to the point, I kinda want to keep it a surprise. Especially if some listeners haven't kept up with there work from there debut album. Or were somewhat left cold with there sophomore. (Though I do have a lot of thoughts for that record) A lot of the fundamentals that are presented from how a song begins and ends to how there is a good chunk of details that you can sink your teeth into with each track. As well as just being a fun record.
Grade:95 but could be a 100. And if I updated my 2018 list, I could see this being in my top 10.
So yeah Moonlight gets my vote. Because I'm predictable.

Electronic/dance/house, or whatever you wanna' call Disclosure, isn't generally my cup of tea, but this was pretty listenable and a super easy vote over the competition.

I was pretty into Beast Coast back in 2014-15, and I think Vacation In Hell might have appealed to me more then. The beats and bars are pretty good, but overall not particularly fresh. The length is not justified, and this is another album that probably should have been cut in half. It generally gets better as it goes on and shifts from trap production to mellower stuff, and it is a pleasant enough listen, but I doubt I'll go back soon.
I already gushed about Moonlight in the tournament thread, so no need to reprise that. Easily gets my vote. _________________ Join us in the canon game / Add me on RYM

When Dihansse give an electronic album a 7/10, you know it's good.
