Kurt Vile has a pretty similar sound to The War on Drugs, though without the more spacious tracks like Suffering. He actually used to be in The War on Drugs, though I think he left around 2011, so well before Lost in the Dream. My favorite by him is this one:

Absolutely loved the album! I love this little scene The War on Drugs and its associated acts have going on.
