I'm inclined to agree, even though I love Accordion more than Grindin', but that Flaming Lips song is excellent too while Sweet Trip is... decent?

Went with Grindin' in the end, mostly because Velocity seems to be more of a snippet of what seems to be a great album (for some reason I've never heard of it yet, which is my main takeaway from this match), rather than a great "song" in its own right.
Still not totally sure how much I really like Grindin', both verses are good and the beat is infectious, even if it's almost too minimalistic for my own liking.

Yeah this is the most disappointing result of the tournament for me so far. The Sweet Trip song is fine - I like the part where the vocals come in on the second half - but like the album it's from it doesn't stick with me. I was underwhelmed with Grindin when I first heard Lord Willin but now I cant get enough of it (Virginia is my favorite from that album though). Probably my favorite hip hop song in the tournament outside of my nominations.[/i]
