For some reason I've heard uknowhatimsayin for the first time just now. It's not as experimental and out there as XXX or Atrocity Exhibition, but it's his catchiest to date. I loved it, and it gets my vote here, as well as a place in the top 50 of the year.

While I think UnknowwhatImsayin was far from a masterpiece and occassionally played into some of his... lesser... qualities, I still liked the moderatly playful, funky vibe overall and the (briefer) spurts of brilliant inspiration, probably the kind of album you'd expect Danny to make after Atrocity Exhibition even if it indeed pales in comparison to that beautiful freak of a record. Juneunit was nice and listenable for it's lengthy runtime, even if I think there were far more intriguing albums of a similar sound released in 2019. So, the slight edge to Danny this time.
