I can start the 2019 album tournament on June 1 instead and then we could do the 2015-19 songs tournament after that. Or someone can start the 2015-19 songs tournament ASAP and I can postpone the 2019 album tournament.

I agree it would be best not to have a month plus of down time. Was thinking we could maybe overlap them a bit, since the end of the 2015-2019 tourney will go a bit faster once everyone knows the songs. But I worry about having two competing tourneys clutter the Games forum and making it hard to keep track of matches.

I also tried to work out the math for how we can squeeze the song tourney into 6 weeks, but I think it would be tricky even if we had 8 matches open at a time, and that's a bit much. Plus that might be extended based on participation and play-in rounds. Rather than rush, let's start something within the next two weeks and set the date of the other tourney once we have a better idea of when the first one will end. I don't have much of a preference of which goes first. Can see benefits to keeping the momentum of the songs tourneys but it also might be nice to have a break for something else for a bit. I'm in favor of bumping the 2019 tourney up to June 1st and having the song tourney start after it ends if there are no objections.

I'm up for anything, but I would advise starting sooner or later especially as we're all still likely to have plenty of free-time. Don't overlap the tournaments though, since that will surely push many matches to the second page, which is a death knell for those individual threads
