Fleet Foxes just teased a new release coming out in two days. I'm honestly so excited that my fingers are tingling. This might've been a shit year for movies, but I'm very happy the new albums we've been getting. Fiona Apple, Cro-Mags reunion, Oranssi Pazuzu, a couple Denzel Curry's, Napalm Death, Jeff Rosenstock, Ulcerate, Old Sorcery, RTJ, Paysage D'Hiver, Testament, Elder, Thy Catafalque, Against All Logic, Constantine, and now Fleet Foxes. I have had an incredible year for music. _________________ Do it yourself and let me play my music: https://www.besteveralbums.com/thechart.php?c=61802
For those interested, there's a new Apartments LP out (In and Out of the Light). haven't listened to it yet, but their (his) comeback from a few years ago was really good.

I've never heard of them, but I've been looking for more pop in the Smiths vein, and more obscure non-metal albums for my top 100, so thanks for bringing them up. I'll check them out. _________________ Do it yourself and let me play my music: https://www.besteveralbums.com/thechart.php?c=61802

In prep for Sufjan's big drop coming this Friday, check out this incredible debut album from Anjimile. There's very clear and present Sufjan Stevens influence coming through in their music, and really it's one of the most gorgeous albums of the year for me. It's a deep introspection into life, death, God, and the transformation one has when being reborn, all specifically tied to their trans non-binary identity.
And I'm also tingling from the Fleet Foxes announcement. This year just keeps getting better and better for music.

South Carolina grindcore band Fucked released 3 new EP's this year. Hypersomnia is definitely one of their best albums. _________________ Do it yourself and let me play my music: https://www.besteveralbums.com/thechart.php?c=61802
So Sufjan, Idles, Deftones, Anna Von Hausswolff, The Ocean all dropped an album today. And I haven't even properly listened to the new Fleet Foxes yet... _________________ Overall chart Fake overall chart

Don't forget Sylvan Esso, Tim Heidecker, Will Butler, and Psychic Temple. I honestly can't think of a crazier week of music releases.
