In Remembrance Of Those Who Are Gone

JOSweetHeart · 2016-01-18T19:39:31-05:00

I hope that its okay to get this kind of chat going. It was announced just a few hours ago that yet another musical legend has gone forward, Glen Frey of the Eagles that is, and so to me a chat to remember those who are not here anymore makes sense. God bless you and Glen's family and the rest of the Eagles always!!! Holly P.S. I love to watch Glen here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LmW5McLF-Uk

Rest in Peace Blue Gene Tyranny. Writer of one of the greatest pop records of all time and Robert Ashley's "World's Greatest Piano Player"

Sad to hear. I put on Out of the Blue the other day in the background, first impressions after a not very careful listen were positive. I'll spin it again today. RIP

I was said to hear about Charley Pride, and reading obituaries about him, he seemed like such an incredible person. In addition to his country music career, he also played professional baseball, served in the Army, and eventually became a part-owner of the Texas Rangers. What an incredible life of a man with so many talents.

^^^ Thanks for his background info. I knew about him being a ball player, but I didn't about his team ownership position. 😄 😄 😄

God bless you and his family always!!!

Thank you for acknowledging her passing. With her being gone now, her video for “80’s Ladies” will only make you cry harder…which is what makes me even more thankful for her video that was made to go with “Come Next Monday”. I love it. 😄 😄 😄

God bless you and her family always!!!
