Nice to hear this masterpiece of Moog pop-psych-meets-musique concrรจte again.
Electronic pioneer, Bruce Haack, who was piano prodigy and an occasional writer
of music for TV commercials and even worked with Def Jam's Russell Simmons,
put out this psychedelic anti war/Jesus vs Satan space opera at a time when
pop-occult electronic music was a thing (re: Mort Garson, White Noise a.o.).
When you think about today's whack-jobs screaming about how to keep our
kid's minds locked up, it's kind of a surprise to know that even after this LP
was released - actually because of the release of this album - Haack was offered
jobs to do musical realizations of stories for children thru the Scholastic Books company.
