I've been having a good time with this. A lot of things that I watched years ago have been good to return to. I'm trying to watch at least 4 or 5 more by next week. Too bad some of them are almost 3 hours long.

I'll take a look at the subcategory this week and see if I can whip something up.
I'd forgotten about Jean de Florette... And the sequel, Manon of the Spring (1986) was even better, as I recall. I should have listed that one. Why can't I get everything perfect the first time? What is wrong with me? Don't I care about water-rights disputes in early-20th century rural France?
They both had soundtracks released by the way, but only the Jean de Florette soundtrack is listed here on BEA.
And MadhattanJack, you can add those films to your list, it wouldn't be a problem.
Well, I hate to be fussy... But okay, I guess the easiest appropriate thing would be to replace The Fly at #77 with Manon of the Spring. It probably deserves to be higher, but if I'm the only one ranking it, it probably won't matter all that much. And TBH, I didn't really enjoy The Fly so much as I was impressed with how cleverly the original was reworked.

I'll submit the list a day before the deadline (regardless of extending it or not) or so to have more time for watching. Just a heads up, I'm sure there are a lot of people like me who are willing to submit but are waiting for the last moment. _________________ Overall chart Fake overall chart

Def— usually 25% of all submissions come in on the last day 🤣
(Which, I'm fine with, and it kinda makes sense).
And all good Jack, I'll make the update. _________________ Doubles & Conch
I hope this isn't a spoiler by any means, but I am shocked at the amount of individual films on the list, and how many big films have only appeared once. The variety of everyone's submissions is wild this time around. Usually we have far more overlap.
Another spoiler— the 120-150 range is killer right now, so please send in a list if you haven't 😁
Also, if you're a fan of When Harry Met Sally, like Mercury is, you should send in a list. Isn't that right. _________________ Doubles & Conch
