Favourite Eric album

I'm not his biggest fan to be honest, a lot of his stuff is bordering on easy listening to my ears - he's undeniably a superb guitarist but could have done with a frontman!! Not a BAD album this.. a couple good songs, Let it Grow probably my fave - and I like Cocaine off Slowhand -another decent album but just find most of his stuff a bit too ....lightweight if that makes sense...

I agree completely with that statement Pedro. Super talented but, except for his stuff with John mayall, very underwhelming. Saw him live a few years back and was so boring. I actually went to the gig because he was supported by Steve winwood, Iโ€™m a massive traffic fan, and Steve rocked the joint.

Never really got into Traffic - one song that comes to mind is Dear Mr Fantasy, that is a belter!! - I saw EC in Glasgow a few years back, a mate had a spare ticket going after someone fell ill - It was exactly the same story, yawnfest!! - support was from Robert Cray who was rockin that night.. oh, John Mayall... that Beano album is one I've not played in years!
