Jeff Beck is probably my favorite electric guitar player of all time. Blow By Blow is one of the greatest fusion albums ever and I really love his interpretation of A Day In The Life. From the Yardbirds up to present day he has done a lot of wonderful stuff. Has a really distinct playing style and tone and I feel as legendary of a musician as he was he is still relatively underrated.

^^^ My most favorite aunt was hit with brain cancer and went forward this past September 5th. Her son and daughter are my most favorite cousins in the world. Sadly, the horror was only just beginning for them. Their dad passed away on December 11th and then just this past Monday, the nightmare continued for one of my cousins because her dog had to be put to sleep because it ended up getting a tumor that the doctors couldn't do anything about and so any prayers at all will be so very much appreciated.

God bless you and my family always!!!

Holly

P.S. My aunt was my mom's sister and with her gone, my mom is now the only member left of my mom's first family. Her parents and older brother were the first to go and so any prayers for my mom will be so very much appreciated too.

Mbira musician Stella Chiweshe passed away yesterday. For those who follow my charts, you probably know I think highly of her.
I don't usually recommend 'greatest hits' comps, but her recent collection Kasahwa—

Kasahwa: Early Singles by Stella Chiweshe
—is a fantastic showcase of her body of work.

She also has at least a half-dozen albums I would recommend, including a live record in 2018.

RIP

Today would've been his 75th birthday. I miss Northern Calloway (David of the Sesame Street children's show) so much.
