I’m not disrespecting the later albums, some are excellent. Maybe it’s just that this is so bloody brilliant that it’s hard to top. |
Think it's partly that they made a near perfect album at the first attempt, off top of my head there are a few others who's debut is their best... Oasis, The Doors (debatable), Ramones, Guns n Roses, The Strokes, on another day I'd maybe add Hendrix Are You Experienced.. It's not very common right enough..
