agreed 😄 rock n roll has half of a good album and half I can live without, love ANybody Wanna Take Me Home.. He put out 4 Albums in 2022, liked Romeo & Juliet but the other 3 left me pretty underwhelmed - definitely a case of quantity over quality the last couple of years! could probably edit down to a couple of great LP's.. Did you see that he's released 2 this year as well one a cover version of Nebraska album by The Boss and the other one is cover of Blood On The Tracks - something about those just doesnt appeal so I havent investigated
I hadn’t heard about the covers albums and I won’t be purchasing them. I don’t really see why he’s doing that as he’s such a great songwriter in his own right. Think I’ll wait until the next album of original material and see if that grabs me.

That was me...funny about this...I have a hard time sometimes with it. Page and the band are really great, except for Chris Robinson...almost everything here is out of his range, and he's woefully flat on almost every song (by 1999, his voice was pretty much shot. He claimed he didn't like Plant's vocal parts, but it's more like he just couldn't reach them). But I can live with that...it's the screams of my ex wife in between songs that drives me nuts (she was there, front row). She's been a huge Crowes fan for years, and I can hear her on so many live shows I have on my computer from back then. Including this.
For me, the parts I want to hear are the songs that didn't make the album. Meaning the Crowes material. They couldn't release the Crowes originals from those shows because of issues with their record company. It would be cool to hear songs like "Wiser Time", "Remedy" and "No Speak, No Slave" with Page. Also, it would have been much more interesting had Marc Ford still been in the band...Page and Ford together would have been pretty amazing. _________________ I'm leaning on the threshold

would be amazing to hear the Crowes material for sure - Marc Ford definitely would have added something special - the Ford-era is the best Black Crowes for me - Ford era Crowes, Mick Taylor-era Stones, bliss 😄 that's hilarious that you can hear your wife on the album - briliant 😄

came out 2010!! don't think I've spun it since.. Adams described it as a sci-fi metal concept album! maybe I should revisit it to see if it's really as rotten as I remember
