No one said they were. This thread is for "FAVORITES". I post my favorite new tracks released each week. If my favorites all happen to be from the same genre, so what? They are still my favorites.
Good for you.
I don't know why it bothers you so much. I've been here since 2020 and Christian / Gospel music has been almost entirely ignored on this site until I started posting my favorites. Christian / Gospel music is MUSIC. It's just as valid as any other genre.

Didn't say it wasn't. _________________ I'm leaning on the threshold

Kim Deal (Pixies, The Breeders, The Amps) just released a new track called "Coast." So if we all cross our fingers, maybe this will lead to a Kim Deal solo album at some point in the not-too-distant future. Or, we could all leave our fingers uncrossed, since that's less likely to cause arthritis pain and other types of inflammation.
This week my favorite new track is "Sometimes the Devil Tells the Truth" by Steve Ladd. Next week the final album by The Nelons will be released and also a new album by David Phelps which contains one of my favorite tracks of the year "Dead Man Rising", which I can only listen to by YouTube until this new album is released next Friday.
My favorite new track this week is a very powerful song called "Dead Man Rising" by David Phelps. I had already heard the song on YouTube and picked it as one of my 2 favorite songs of 2024, the other being Anne Wilson's "REBEL". It is finally out on David's new album "Speak of Love". I don't have to just watch the YouTube video to hear the song anymore. There's also a great version of "Go Rest High on That Mountain" on the album too.
Also The Nelons final album was released today. I want to pick something from this album to post too. It's an overall good album with a number of tracks I could pick. For now I think I'll pick "Moses" (feat. special guests Gaither Vocal Band & Joseph Habedank. RIP Jason Clark, Kelly Nelon Clark & Amber Nelon Kistler.
