I enjoyed the Lambrini Girls album a lot. The second Horsegirl album is solid, but not quite as good as the first. The Ringo country album is goofy fun.

That new Squid album is my go to so far, hooking it up to me big time.

LOREFR001 by Dead Man's Chest & Tim Reaper
This is my highlight of the year, apart from Park Jiha. 2 masters of jungle, darkside, dnb and everything in between. Just a great, solid, short EP. If you're into those genres, it's a must have.

I think we have little in common in terms of musical taste, but wow! What a great introduction (I was not familiar with Brenna Whitaker). Definite point of overlap here. Thanks for this post.

No problem. It's a song I've been listening to a lot lately. I don't get many compliments here and I just lost my ballads thread. Thanks. It was also produced by one of my favorite artists, Gordon Mote.

I am too lazy to do all the data entry for chart making, but in general I would strongly recommend Konrad Sprenger - Set, Klein - thirteen sense, Sarah Hennies - SOVT, Eev Frances - Sometimes I Forget To Breathe, and Julek ploski - Give Up Channel

Come on, make one!

What are the rules on adding stuff that's not out yet? Because I have been sent some very cool stuff, like the new Nadah El Shazly is so good

It can be added if it's coming out in 90 days or less. It has to have an announced full release date (month, day and year), a fully announced track listing, and it has to be somewhere online where it can be verified (hard to verify if it's only on a streaming service).

Tonky by Lonnie Holley
The new Lonnie Holley album is predictably great. Features include Mary Lattimore, Angel Bat Dawid, Joe Minter, Open Mike Eagle, Alabaster DePlume, Isaac Brock, Billy Woods, Jessca Hoop, Saul Williams.

Here's Robin McKelle's version of the standard "I'm Confessin' That I Love You". It was released last month. It's really strange that both YouTube and Spotify have labeled this track as having explicit lyrics. There are no explicit lyrics here. It's the same standard it always was.
