I might slightly prefer Greetings from Ashbury Park, but this is a solid sophomore effort.

A great album up there with the river and born to run.

Not quite as good as darkness or the rising but few album are.

Such a great, consistent vibe to this album. Love it

His best album for sure, and in my top 100. The first side โ€” often overlooked โ€” is superb, especially the title tune and the unpredictable โ€œKittyโ€™s Backโ€.

Damn good album in its own right but it still feels like a building block to Born To Run for me.
