Their 2nd album - Twice Removed - is one of my favorite Power Pop albums of the 90s. Just heard they may be going back on tour so checking out this, their 3rd album.

A great Canadian band who get a lot of love in their home country, but are not that well known in other parts of the world. They are going to release their 14th album in September. Their tour dates only indicate Canadian gigs for the rest of the year....maybe next year they will go to the U.S. Details: https://exclaim.ca/music/article/sloan-...ve-forever

14th album?!?! That's insane. They must be REALLY big up there. OR day jobs like the rest of us.

What's your favorite album by them, imacgill?
That is tough question but Twice Removed is probably my favourite of theirs, followed closely by One Chord and their debut Smeared. You can't go wrong listening to anything in their discography, because I honestly don't think they have ever made a bad record.
