The newest singer to ride off into the sunset is the lead singer of the country band named The Mavericks. His name is Raul Malo, he was 60 years old, and sadly Cancer made him its newest victim which only makes me hate the disease even more.

As much as he made us laugh, and as much as he wanted the world to be just a little happier for a moment, I can't bring myself to write anything but express a genuine gut-wrenching pang I've felt today following the murders of Rob and Michele Singer Reiner. I did not know this man, but wow he made it feel like you did. One of the grimmest days in Hollywood in my lifetime, and I'm overcome with a true sadness that we lost Rob this way. I only just finished the most recent season of The Bear, and I couldn't help but think how great it was to see Reiner acting this kind of roll in it. There'll be a hole in Hollywood, without doubt.
I'm well aware of BEA's fondness of Reiner's work, particularly his 80s output, and I'd be lying if I didn't say The Princess Bride has flit in-and-out of being my all-time favourite film over the years, but more than anything this one shocked me on a very human level. I'm not sure what else to say. Just devastating. I know Billy Crystal was early on scene, and I just feel for the guy... this is awful, awful stuff, that you don't expect to happen to someone so openly jolly.
I hope he knew how much joy he brought to the screen, both on-camera and behind it—

Agree with all of those sentiments. My wife and I were so taken aback when we heard earlier today. The Princess Bride is one of my favourite films of all time but more than that, whenever I heard Rob being interviewed he came across as a genuinely caring person and someone you’d really want to hang out with. Not always the case
NB - the comments by Trump following their deaths is truly disgusting. He’s hit many lows in his time but the comments today are a probably his lowest and that’s saying something. Disgusting
