A lot of great music being dished out at the same time.
And Blur created some of the best with this album, becoming a great stop at the BIRT continuum that started with the Kinks and went on to include great acts such as the Jam, the Madness and so on...
This is a low, funnily enough is the real high of the album"

"Maybe not quite the decade's best, but it could be the most "90s" album I've heard. As a catalog of everyday British life in the dole age, it becomes a sort of a looking glass sequel to The Kink's Village Green Preservation Society. So many enjoyable tunes, particularly "Tracy Jacks" and "London Loves"."
