every new month at 00:00 I'm dead ready to manually record the changes in top 2500 starting at page 125 scrolling down to page 100 usually discovering 12 new albums and then go to page 126 scrolling in the opposite direction until the numbers matc. this month however #2481 has been the first newcomer 6 days running and Kansas - point of know return likewise #2494 as the second one. i suspect they have been newcomers since my previous recording 1st of february. I've been doing this for years. a tradition of mine is ruined. anyone there who can fix? and while I'm at it is it super easy to get this in the chart changes monthly update from now on releasing med this quality time in the midnight hour once a month? (the latter not important - but still - there is more than 1000 classics. I chose 2500 after som consideration a few years ago. love this site to pieces)

Hi, I'll check into the issue, six days is probably from the last site update, so possibly something was introduced that caused a problem. In terms of alerts, I'll also see what could be done to simplify checking new entries in the overall chart. Something on the 2026 roadmap for Q3/4 is filtering movers & new entries within a chart. For aggregated charts this could be configurable for a specific time period (user-defined limits defining a new entry threshold etc), but for other types of chart (more simply) the changes are calculated from the previous version of a chart. _________________ Bluesky · Facebook · Spotify · X
