Based on Love's Theme is the reference to the sample of Love's Theme by the Love Unlimited Orchestra, founded by Barry White back in the day.
So a cover of sorts or more a remix I suppose, it's ok, not anywhere near my favourite OMD track and off one of their less remembered albums I suppose.

An unusual start, in that this song feels like it was around well before 1993, and in a sense it was, popularised by Elvis in the 60's, this version is probably best described as a cover of that.
It's catchy, probably my favourite UB40 hit in the series, a more reggae fusion styled take on the Elvis version, coming off their 10th album, Promises and Lies, I can get behind it for sure among all the UB40 entries we have had here.
