Weirdly catchy and effective and a textbook early 90's one hit wonder, Apache Indian was a DJ from Birmingham, who had good success with just this hit really (a few other releases but none near this level).
It's a weird mix of dancepop, dancehall, reggae and ragga, and I kinda love it.
Sometimes you just can't explain it.

After a couple of lullish days, Jamiroquai make their debut here, with their acid jazz pop thing that did pretty successfully throughout the 90's.
We haven't got to their big hit yet so Now was early on the train here, Too Young to Die was the second single off their debut album, Emergency on Planet Earth, it's a fun time blending acid jazz with soul and funk, though they hadn't fully got the poppiness into their sound just yet.
A good listen and breaks the top 200.
